Start a DM from a comment

Keywords, the first private reply, and an actual inbound message.

Match the rule to the content

A comment trigger can target one post or new comments more generally. For a specific post, select actual content from your connected account. The public illustrative image does not select a real post.

Your keyword should match the invitation in the caption. Check the match in the preview and write a natural public reply and private response where needed.

The first reply has its own rules

The first private reply to a comment is text only and is subject to the seven-day limit from the comment’s actual creation. A further regular DM needs a real inbound message from the recipient and an open 24-hour window. Clicking a web link is not itself an inbound message.

Verify with a second account

Test with an account you control and watch the actual sending status. The same comment and an already handled person under the same rule do not receive repeated opening replies.
