Verify following before a link

Why “I’m following” is not proof, and when the check can happen.

Enable the step where it makes sense

The editor can add a follow request before sharing a link. Clearly explain what you are asking for and preview the complete conversation.

Confirmation is not proof

Saying “I’m following” does not prove that the person follows you. After a real inbound message or eligible interaction, DMFLOW checks is_user_follow_business through the Meta API. Only the actual boolean value true releases the link.

A missing field, API error, or false does not unlock the next step. The status may be delayed. An unverified follow receives at most one reminder, not repeated prompts indefinitely.

Test both situations

Use a second account you control to try the flow before and after following. Use the exact continuation shown in the conversation; changing the UI language does not translate an older saved rule. Regular follow-up still needs an open messaging window.
