Tags and notes for contacts
Keep your own context without rewriting people’s actual messages.
Start with a real interaction
A contact comes from an interaction with a flow, not a purchased list. The overview connects Instagram, a voluntarily provided email, the relevant automation, and the last interaction.
Your own tags help group similar interests, such as prices, a resource, or a consultation. Notes are for you and your team; record only what is needed to manage the relationship. Do not present your own note as a quotation from the recipient.
When looking up a contact
- Open Contacts and search by the available Instagram handle or email.
- Check the automation context and edit your own tags or note.
- Use the relevant filter or export for further work.
When deleting
Read the confirmation. Contact deletion includes the email and cancellation of waiting messages as described in the app. Ordinary removal from the overview does not replace handling a legal request for full erasure; use the published procedure for that.
